Summer Business Program

Once again, Junior Achievement is thrilled to invite your students to JA Business Week presented by Arrow Electronics. Teenage students compete in teams on a business project while networking with professionals, preparing for their careers, and enjoying the week on campus at Johnson & Wales University in Denver. Students can register at www.JABusinessWeek.org.

OtterBox will sponsor the first-year students’ business project; students at JA Business Week for the first time will design a new OtterBox cell phone case and marketing plan. Thanks to OtterBox and The OtterCares Foundation for their support.

Returning students will compete in a virtual business simulation called Mikes Bikes where they’ll learn new skills in planning for capacity, managing a supply chain, understanding distribution and marketing, and accounting for R&D for new bikes.

June 8-13, 2014

Registrations are due May 2.

Financial aid is given on a first-come, first-served basis. Last year, we had a waitlist of 50+ students!

Don’t delay, and tell your students to apply now here!

$350, underwritten by our corporate sponsors

FREE for students on free/reduced lunch (must pay the $25 registration fee)

Visit www.JABusinessWeek.org to watch the 2013 video, view a sample schedule, complete the online application, and learn more!

Please contact me with questions – we would love to support your students. I’m happy to visit your classroom to share this opportunity with your students. Thanks!
