Dress Code Cell Phone & ear buds policy

Dress Code, IDs, and Cell Phones - Northglenn Middle School  will continue to allow students to wear hoodies, however, at no time will students be permitted to wear their hood up while inside the building.

Student Dress Code:  District Policy 5060 can be seen here.

All students will be issued an ID and lanyard for the school year on the first day of school and must keep their ID on them at all times. This will be their bus pass for transportation to and from school, athletics and field trips.

Cell phones are NOT allowed in school and must be stored in a backpack during school hours. Cell phones may only be used before and after school (not during lunch). Students can use a school phone to call parents/guardians if they are ill or otherwise need to make a call. Parents/guardians needing to contact their student during the school day can call the office, and messages can be delivered to students. We respectfully request that parents/guardians NOT text students during the school day.

Earbuds/airpods are also NOT permitted. Students may use wired headphones with their Chromebooks during classes if needed. The loss, destruction, or theft of any personal electronic devices, other than the school-issued Chromebook, will not be investigated by school personnel.
