Students visit New Orleans for Jazz Conference
- Collaborate
Century Middle School and Northglenn Middle School spent January 4 - January 7th in New Orleans at the Jazz Educators Network Conference. The students were able to watch so many amazing school groups and professionals perform! Each school was also able to perform 3-4 songs and receive a lot of feedback from famous Jazz professionals around the country. It was fun to see in the moment feedback have immediate changes. Our students were showcased in a such a positive light and it was amazing to watch them have so much confidence in performing! They also toured New Orleans and went on a swamp boat tour - all things kids had never done before! Overall a WONDERFUL experience for students. Thanks to Mr. Crump-Bertram and Mr. Stopperan for planning this experience!
