Northglenn Middle School Bond Projects

Northglenn Middle School will see substantial upgrades through the 2024 bond, with between $4.7 million and $5.6 million in projected investments. 

The school will receive new furnishings, better classroom finishes, and updated HVAC and ceiling systems to enhance student comfort and focus. Students and staff will also see a range of updates across the school’s campus, including irrigation upgrades, parking lot repairs and improvements to athletic fields. 

The district is also converting classroom space to serve as an instruction space for career and technical education (CTE). CTE classrooms will give students hands-on experiences that connect learning to real-world skills. These new spaces will allow more students to explore high-interest areas like business, entrepreneurship, 3-D printing and design. The CTE expansion is part of a broader district-wide effort to provide opportunities for younger students to discover new interests, build confidence and envision future academic or career pathways as early as possible.

Bond-funded safety measures include upgraded fire alarms, intercoms, door sensors and locks. Technology improvements are also planned, including faster Wi-Fi and new network cabling to strengthen IT infrastructure.
