Our Principal

Mrs. Barajas has worked in Adams 12 for 17 years.  This is Mrs. Barajas’ eighth year at Northglenn Middle school.  She served as the Assistant Principal for 7 years. Mrs. Barajas is a graduate of Metro State University (MSU) and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She went on to obtain her Master’s of Arts in Counseling.  In May 2010, she completed her Principal Licensure program with the University of Denver (DU) Ritchie program.  In September of 2018, Mrs. Barajas completed the Latino Leadership Institute (LLI) at the University of Denver.  Mrs. Barajas is married and has 3 children.  She enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family.
