The 2018-2019 school year will be my third year teaching 7th grade ELD at NGMS, and my third year living in Colorado.
I lived in Michigan most of my life, then spent time in Croatia after graduating high school. Before moving to Colorado, I attended Loyola University in Chicago. While there, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education, a Bachelor of Art degree in English, and became certified in Secondary English, English Language Development/Culturally and Liguistically Diverse Education, and as a Learning Behavior Specialist/Special Education Generalist. I am also currently taking classes at CU Boulder towards a Masters degree in Education, Equity and Cultural Diversity.
I am married to my favorite person in the world, who also works in Adams 12 schools. The other loves of my life are travel, good books, good coffee, good fam., and of course our cat and dog.
